My name is Zowie and I live in Peterborough with my partner Gary.
I was born in Nottingham. I moved from Nottingham in 2000 to Rutland with my family, only to move onto Melton Mowbray to buy my first home in 2004, and then to Peterborough.
I work fulltime as an Accountant, and so I am a small hobby breeder. I have done a lot of research into my chosen breeds, breeding, genetics and also gained lots of knowledge from fellow breeders.
I have always had cats in the family whilst growing up, and once I moved out into my own place I decided to have my own cats.
We already have 2 beautiful non-pedigree neuter girls named Saffron and Emily. Please see the link for “Our Neuters”.
We also have a German Shepherd named Scooby who we got from a rescue centre in 2006 when he was a puppy. He was taken from an abusive home where he was exposed to his mother and father being beaten by their owner. He now has grown into a lovely dog, and you can see his pictures under “Our Neuters”.
Firstly and most importantly I would like to thank my breeding mentor Katie Peacock in Cambridge for letting us have our first Chocolate Burmese girl, Pumba. And also for entrusting me with 2 of her adult queens Mimi & Ginny. Katie has given me so much support and I am so grateful.
I would also like to thank Chris Nicholson in Middlesborough who was kind enough to let us have one of his Blue Point Siamese baby girls, Timone.
Both of these breeders welcomed me to the world of breeding. If it had not been for them I would not be writing this. I thank them both for giving me a chance and for all the coaching and support that they have provided, and will continue to provide.
